You should never get used to mediocre solutions. Anything in a product that feels weak or unfinished should be written down immediately. Otherwise, a week later, it starts to seem acceptable, and the quality bar quietly slips.
That does not mean fixing everything at once. Improvements can be made gradually, based on impact, urgency, and cost.
